Altitude Film Entertainment is a vertically integrated film company encompassing production, finance, international sales and UK distribution. The company was formed in May 2012 by Will Clarke, founder of British production and distribution banner Optimum Releasing, which he sold to Studiocanal in 2006. Partnering Clarke is Co-CEO Andy Mayson, a highly experienced executive who has held Board-level positions at such notable companies as Working Title, PolyGram, Icon, Exclusive and Hammer.

The Company’s vertically integrated structure also includes Altitude Film Sales, run by Mike Runagall, who formerly served as SVP International Sales at Pathé. This spirited and dynamic trio bring with them relationships from across the industry, fashioning ‘creative partnerships’ with both emerging and established talents. This collaborative edge is defined by a distinctive and commercial slate, teeming with diverse and eclectic content.

Horrors By Altitude

The Hallow

Fraught economic pressures force Adam Hitchens, a London-based conservationist, to take a job surveying an Irish forest. By relocating his family deep in the idyllic countryside he hopes this will allow them to start afresh. Not everyone approves of their arrival however. A farmer with strong beliefs in local tradition and folklore warns of danger if Adam does not stop unsettling the ancient, sacred forests with his tests and assessments. When someone breaks into the house at night, with the apparent intention of harming their child, the worried couple believes the locals are taking it a step further, intent on driving them out. But when the police aren’t able to catch the elusive intruders, events take a turn for the unexplainable as their home comes under terrifying attack. Stranded in the middle of nowhere, Adam and Clare must fight to protect their child as they face the true nature of a malevolent and unspeakable evil.

Wyrmwood

Barry is a talented mechanic and family man whose life is torn apart on the eve of a zombie apocalypse. His sister, Brooke, is kidnapped by a sinister team of gas-mask wearing soldiers & experimented on by a psychotic doctor. While Brooke plans her escape Barry goes out on the road to find her & teams up with Benny, a fellow survivor - together they must arm themselves and prepare to battle their way through hordes of flesh-eating monsters in a harsh Australian bushland.



The above are both horror films that have been produced by Altitude films. Even though there are few similarities between our film and the films shown above I still think Altitude would be good distributes as they have history of producing horror films.
