Film Noir
Film noir is usually used in crime and romantic films however i feel like we could use it when we see Chloe carrying the knife. The use of shadows would make the audience wonder what was happening where they couldn't see, playing on a common fear of the dark. To achieve this we would use a strong backlight with no front light of fill light.

Naturalistic
For the rest of our film we will want to use dark,naturalistic lighting. To achieve this we would only use the back light and front light. By missing out the fill light we can show our use of shadows to the best possible effect. By doing this the film will look naturalistic but also shows a dark horror side.
