3 What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

A film institution specializing in the thriller/horror genre would distribute my film due to it being the thriller/horror genre. For example Film District, a film institution that has brought out large films in the past such as Insidious, Old Boy and don’t be Afraid of the Dark. By having an industry that is more up to date with the times it can help our film be promoted to a younger age group which is what we are hoping for. However, the industry have also brought out films for an older group to also help us widen our audience age which is something that we aim to do.  However, with our group being small it would be more ideal for if we chose a smaller company such as Picturmedia who has produced small films such as Just before Dawn and War of the Planets. The idea of having a smaller industry to distribute our film would be a lot more beneficial as it would be much cheapPicture media rather than Film District.
