2 How does your media product represent particular social
groups?
In our
production we portray Chloe to being a very stereotypical girl. For example
when she sees the potential killers she instantly becomes scared screams and
then runs away. It shows fear and as though she isn’t fighting back sticking up
for herself. Although it is a horror and that would not typically happen you
find that boys normally would try and be the Alfa male and protect themselves
as she just runs away and does not stop. We also show her to being very
dependent on her mum when she rings her from the phone and screams for her to
help her. This again shows weakness something you would expect a girl to be as
they are seen as the more weaker sexes.-
