Opening titles

 

 

With out film being set in the genre of horror, I believe that for our opening titles we should have something slightly odd in order for it to stand out. Many horror opening titles hold articles from newspapers relating to parts of the film. In my opinion I believe our film would look really good with something like that. for example...

 

 

 

Here is the opening titles to the film Texas Chainsaw Massacre- the beginning. It includes images such as deformed children and articles like I previously motioned. It fits with the film and helps to set the film before it has even begun.

 



 

 

 

 

Another opening sequence to a horror that I think will fit for our film would be the purge. Again it explains slightly what the purge is. I think it would be really affective for if we used things like this to help set the scene.

 

 

 

 

 



 

 

 

 

Both opening titles are using dark, amber colour's again something I would like to use for ours. It links in with horror from the darkness used and the amber colour's help to detect fire and danger.
