This is a short film made by students called 'Abandoned'. I think this film is effective because of the audio. the non-diegetic audio of birds is repeated throughout the piece, giving a sense of repetition.
The colours used were also effective as they reflected the emotions that the boy was feeling which displayed to the audience.
I thought that the setting was very good and we could use a setting like this for our film however I do not feel that the house is needed in this.
If I were to improve this film I would change what the boy is wearing to reflect the mood of the piece, making him wear darker clothes.
