BBFC rating

12A / 12

I think this would be our rating because our film will contain very little swearing if any in our film. It will contain mild violence and no references to sex. However the violence we do have may be relevant to a 15. The BBFC say:

"moderate violence is allowed but it should not dwell on detail. There should be emphasis on injuries or blood, but occasional gory moments may be permitted if they can be justified by context... Weapons that are easily accessible to 12 year olds (such as knifes) should not be glamorised. "

The use of weapons is what may put us above the 12 marker line.

15

This also could be our rating if we show too much gore. This would happen when we see the decomposing arm in the wardrobe or when we see Chloe carving into Olivia's skin at the end, explaining how she killed the others. The BBFC say:

"at 15 violence may be strong. it should not dwell on the infliction on pain or injury, however, and the strongest gory images may be unacceptable."
